This is a great opportunity to meet other families in a relaxed, fun atmpsophere. Kennedy Park has many attractions to keep children busy, including a carousel, petting zoo, train ride, and for the younger children pony rides.          <content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Learn about interveners and children who are deaf-blind at the 13th Annual California Paraeducator Conference. This marks the first time CDBS has partnered with this popular and respected conference to share information about the role of interveners and the critical service they provide to children and youth who are deaf-blind. The conference will be held March 25-27, 2010 at the Convention Center and Sheraton Grand Hotel in Sacramento. This is a conference for paraeducators as well as other educators and administrators.</p>
<p>CDBS will offer one conference session on the topic of intervention. The session, titled "The Concept of Intervention: What is it? How does it work? Why is it important for children and youth who are deaf-blind?", is currently scheduled to occur on <b>Saturday, March 27 from 8:00 - 9:30 a.m</b>. This workshop will be an abbreivated version of the six-hour "on-ramp" training CDBS has conducted throughout the state and will be a great opportunity for teams who need basic information but may not have six hours to devote to the topic.</p>
